When you protect your home with Vector Security, you can arm or disarm your system, control your lights and thermostat, get video alerts and more from anywhere using the Vector Security app. With Cancel-Verify, you now have the power to cancel a false alarm even when you’re not home or verify an actual intrusion event with our central station.

How does it work?

Cancel-Verify enhances your home's professional monitoring with a set of clear, simple emergency buttons in your app. These buttons let you quickly verify an alarm at your property to expedite emergency response or to cancel a false alarm easily, avoiding a potentially costly false police dispatch.

If your alarm is triggered by one of the access points into your home, you can respond from anywhere, using the app to check video feeds and images before tapping and holding Verify or Cancel for three seconds.

To CANCEL an alarm using the app:

Use the Time Remaining to quickly review video cameras, images, or communicate with those at home
Press and hold Cancel Alarm for three seconds.
A confirmation screen pops up to let users know the signal has been canceled.

To VERIFY an alarm using the app:

Use the Time Remaining to quickly review video cameras, images, or communicate with those at home
Press and hold Verify Alarm for three seconds.
A confirmation screen pops up to let users know the signal has been confirmed.
