For more than 12 years, Vector Security has proudly partnered with Volunteers of America (VOA) in the Mid-States Region (Kentucky and surrounding states), providing tailored security solutions to safeguard the important work they do at their offices, treatment centers, kitchens and shelters. This enduring relationship speaks to the power of trust, reliability and a shared commitment to protecting and serving communities.

Before teaming with Vector Security, VOA faced challenges with their previous provider, whose service did not meet the expectations of the organization. It was a frustrating experience for an entity whose work is vital to the well-being of so many. But Carl Powell, Facilities Manager at VOA Mid-States, recalls the moment they switched to Vector Security. “It’s been 100% different with Vector Security," he shares. “They are top-notch and responsive. If we need something done, we call the Vector Security Louisville Branch or our rep Dave Johnson, and they make it happen.”

This level of service is backed by the robust and effective security technologies Vector Security provides. At VOA Mid-States Region, systems like video surveillance, access control, panic buttons and intercoms have been effectively implemented. These tools are strategically designed to enhance safety for staff, clients and volunteers alike, and every solution is tailored to meet VOA’s unique needs.

The impact of these systems has been profound. Cameras installed in kitchens, for example, have successfully identified incidents of theft, helping VOA protect their critical resources.

Similarly, video surveillance helped identify the perpetrator of a break-in at one of their treatment centers, allowing for quick action to be taken. Beyond preventing and addressing criminal activity, the cameras have also proven essential for accountability when safety incidents occur at any of their facilities.

At Vector Security, we are honored to support the mission of Volunteers of America by helping create safe environments where positive change can thrive. This partnership is a testament to the importance of building reliable relationships and offering solutions that not only meet clients’ needs but exceed their expectations.
