Vector Security donates hard-to-find tickets to sold-out rivalry game

PITTSBURGH, March 6, 2020 – Antonio Sellers, a 16-year-old high school student from New Jersey, is battling brain cancer. The long-time fan of Duke University’s Blue Devils basketball will have his wish granted to attend the University of North Carolina vs. Duke basketball game on March 7 thanks to Make-A-Wish and a ticket donation from Vector Security.

The ticket donation from Vector Security allows Sellers’ family members to accompany him to the sold-out game. “We couldn’t be happier to support Make-A-Wish in their effort to make this boy’s dream come true,” said Drew Jones, South District Vice President for Vector Security. “We hope Antonio and his family enjoy every moment of this special day.”

Jackie Jordan Welker, Director of Marketing and Communications for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina said, “This is the biggest rivalry in college basketball and a very difficult ticket to get. We are so thankful to Vector Security for stepping in and helping make this an unforgettable night for Antonio!”

Vector Security’s support of this Make-A-Wish experience also includes a pre-game hospitality event at the Washington Duke Inn.

Sellers, a student at Hudson Catholic High School, has been fighting brain cancer for a year and undergone several surgeries, as well as radiation and chemotherapy. His parents say he is very excited to be attending the game.
