General 

Vector Security Networks (“Vector”) is committed to conforming to the requirements of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commissions (CRTC) in Canada, including with respect to improving the accessibility of our products and services in Canada. We continually work to offer, resale, and/or otherwise provide products and services, and to treat our employees (“team members”), in a manner that respects the dignity of people.  

This progress report describes the actions taken during the reporting period to implement our accessibility plan, summarizes the feedback we received, and explains how persons with disabilities were consulted in preparing this report. It is written in clear, simple, and concise language.

Alternate formats 

On request, we will provide this progress report, our accessibility plan, and the description of our feedback process in print, large print, braille, audio, or an electronic format compatible with adaptive technology. Braille and audio formats will be provided within 45 days of the request; other formats will be provided within 15 days of the request.

Progress by Priority Area 

This section reports on the progress made in identifying, removing, and preventing barriers in each priority area addressed in our accessibility plan. 

1. EMPLOYMENT 

Progress during the reporting period: Vector continues to implement the accessibility goals identified in its accessibility plan. No additional barriers have been identified, removed, or prevented.   

2. THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT 

Progress during the reporting period: Vector continues to implement the accessibility goals identified in its accessibility plan. No additional barriers have been identified, removed, or prevented.   

3. INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (ICT) 

Progress during the reporting period: Vector continues to implement the accessibility goals identified in its accessibility plan. Vector has established a plan to implement a “Quick Reference” guide for team member who (i) provide technical support services; or, (ii) sales or customer support, to applicable customers in Canada. No additional barriers have been identified, removed, or prevented.   

4. COMMUNICATION, OTHER THAN ICT 

Progress during the reporting period: Vector continues to implement the accessibility goals identified in its accessibility plan. Vector has established a plan to implement a “Quick Reference” guide for team member who interact with applicable customers, vendor, and partners in Canada by means other than ICT. No additional barriers have been identified, removed, or prevented.   

5. THE PROCUREMENT OF GOODS, SERVICES AND FACILITIES 

Progress during the reporting period: Vector continues to implement the accessibility goals identified in its accessibility plan. Vector has established a plan to update its internal procurement process and RFP template to consider accessibility requirements of applicable products and services. Vector continues to develop an accessibility policy for procurement within the timeline identified in its accessibility plan.  No additional barriers have been identified, removed, or prevented.   

6. Consultations 

Vector did not consult directly with persons with disabilities. Vector’s accessibility plan offers opportunity for feedback and Vector has received none during the reporting period. Given Vector’s limited Canadian operations, when creating its accessibility plan Vector instead consulted legal counsel experienced in developing accessibility policies of this kind for companies, and it will seek to incorporate the perspectives of persons with disabilities as this policy is reviewed and updated and feedback is provided.
