Jim Shepherd: StaR Point Regionalization Program
The goal of the StaR Point program is to place National Account district offices within
strategic areas of the U.S. to strengthen the company’s commitment to its “One True Point”
management philosophy. The regionalization project has been designed to reduce the degree
of separation between the NAD project managers, their existing and prospective customers,
and their nationwide network of Technical Service Partners (TSP).
As both our customer locations and TSP base grew, we realized that directing our overall
operations from our Manassas, VA based National Service Center would reach a point where we
would need greater field presence to maintain our effectiveness.
Providing that increased level of presence is the goal of the StaR Point
program; establishing fully staffed offices in select areas of the country.
We are investing heavily in improving our infrastructure in order to better
position our division for anticipated future growth. That includes making
sure that we have the right people in the right positions and the right
locations.
